mitt romney has been talking about. he talks about five plans that he and paul ryan will put into place to get this country turned around. energy is the number one item on that list. >> ron, as we heard kristen welker talking about how important it is and romney was hammering hard on his opposition to he can tend the wind credit. the debate going toe to tow on the trail? >> reporter: certainly i believe so out here in the west. there's about 5,000 or so people employed in the wind industry and apparently one of the leading manufacturers of wind energy in colorado is says if the tax credit is not extended, they may have to lay off most of their workers. that message will not go over well here in colorado state. they are trying to get the keystone pipeline plan approved. president obama has stalled on that, the first 1300 miles. the oklahoma to texas portion is under way. the army corps of engineers just approved that portion of the plan. we'll have to see if there are jobs that have been promoted if that pipeline project
